Iranian American Women Foundation hosted the 2nd Women's Leadership Conference in San Francisco, Bay Area, on Sunday, April 16, 2017. Hosted at the Westin SFO, over 400 men and women were in attendance to celebrate the diverse achievements of Iranian women in our community. Poignant panel sessions were hosted by thought leaders who discussed issues relevant in the diaspora community such as taboos, technology, family, career aspirations, legal counsel, and much more. Conference attendees were encouraged to reflect on the theme of the day, "It's Time" by gaining the confidence needed to embrace their Iranian American heritage, and continuing to inspire those around them. Due to a very positive turnout and the feedback received, we look forward to many more conferences and events in San Francisco, Bay Area!

We would like to thank our SF committee members for organizing and supporting yet another successful event. We would also like to give special thanks to Keely Badger  for her hard work and continuous support to IAWF and for publicizing our SF conference.
