It'll be a multi-gen service, we'll have the TUUCW orchestra playing, and afterwards there's pizza at the Meeting House. It'll be a festive wind-up to the Super Bowl! Let's do it!

NEW NAME, APPRECIATIVE INQUIRY, FINANCIAL SUSTAINABILITY, STEWARDSHIP, BUDGETING: IT'S GOING TO BE A FABULOUS SPRING!
|
|
Last Sunday, Rev. John talked about “Theory U” and “presencing.” Presencing combines “sensing” (feeling the future possibility) and “presence” (the state of being in the present moment) --“acting from the presence of what is wanting to emerge” to find solutions and opportunities. It honors then, and now, and looks forward to next.
We are doing that now, here at TUUCW. We have a new name that is inclusive and reflective of our UU values. We’re launching an Appreciative Inquiry process that brings newcomers into dialogue with long-time members, rallying around our Mission and enabling a spiritual recharge as we live in covenant with one another. The Financial Sustainability Task Force has been working since November on big

ideas that leverage our strengths, delivering new income streams while reducing expenses so we can live within our means. Our stewardship process kicks off in March. We’ll be looking for more pledges and folks stepping up to new giving levels, so that we can continue our rich and vibrant spiritual lives together: supporting each other in good times and difficult ones, and working for social justice in these challenging times.
This is what's happening this spring! Watch from a distance if you like, and when you're ready ... join us! Contact Rev. John to find out how.
