Dear SFX Parents,

The Teacher/Staff Appreciation Fund is being extended until Monday May 29th!

As the school year comes to a close and we begin to think about ways to thank the faculty and staff of St. Francis Xavier School for their continued commitment to the education of our children, the Family School Association (FSA) would like to encourage you to contribute to the annual Staff Appreciation Fund. This fund is then used to give bonuses to our wonderful teachers and staff at the end of the school year.

The STAFF APPRECIATION FUND is a great way to financially reward our DEDICATED TEACHERS and all the AMAZING STAFF who work with you as a team to give our children a successful learning experience. Every single staff member helps to make SFX an extraordinary, loving, and nurturing school!

It is not a secret that Catholic School employees make considerably less money than their EQUALS working in the public schools. We are truly fortunate that our teachers and staff value serving in a faith-centered environment over a larger salary. The Staff Appreciation Fund is a great way to show our gratitude for this dedication! Last year, the Staff Appreciation Fund raised over $23,000! Let’s see if we can match that this year!

If you wish to take part in this unique show of APPRECIATION, please contribute online using the QR code on this form or visiting:

https://www.givecentral.org/otp/18192 Donating to this fund is completely voluntary, and there is no standard amount to give. If you are able to give, we appreciate your contribution. If you are unable to give at this time, we understand. If you have any questions about the Staff Appreciation Fund, please contact FSA President, Carrie Johnson, [email protected]. PLEASE SUBMIT CONTRIBUTIONS BY MONDAY, MAY 29th. Teachers and staff will be provided with the names of the families who donate.

Thank you for your consideration,

Carrie Johnson, Shanae Strayer, Alicia Goode, Denise Gonzalez, & Liz Musker

SFX Family School Association Board

Falcon Friends Needed!

As a way to help our new families, the Family School Association (FSA) “pairs up” incoming families with current families. This has been very well received by our new families, helping them to feel a part of the SFX Community right away and allowing for new students to be able to see a familiar face on their first day of school.

You can meet for a play date at a park, grab ice cream at Tate’s, anything you think of!  It takes a small amount of time to help make such a big impact.

We are really in need of current families with children entering

PK3, PK4 and Kindergarten to be Falcon Friends with new families!

If you are an existing school family and your family is willing to be a Falcon Friend to a new family, please let FSA know by visiting this form:

https://forms.gle/zobShYJsumQpoxor6

Please note: Liz Musker (the FSA Family and Social Chair) will reach out to families paired with friends in June. Thanks so much!
