NFBJS Physicians Present at the Andrews Football Injuries Conference in New Orleans


The Andrews Research & Education Foundation wrapped up the 2024 Injuries in Football Conference in New Orleans last week. During the three-day event, experts from around the United States covered concepts of assessment, treatment and functional rehabilitation of the medical and musculoskeletal problems in football players. Conference presenters included four of North Florida Bone & Joint Specialists expert providers - Dr. Steven Kronlage, Dr. Josh Hackel, Dr. Roger Ostrander and Dr. Sonya Ahmed.

Dr. Kronlage presented "Football Injuries of the Hand & Wrist - How to Stay Out of Trouble."

Dr. Hackel presented "Patellar Tendinosis “Jumper’s Knee.”

Dr. Ostrander presented "ACL Reconstruction in Football" and "In-Season Management of Anterior Shoulder Instability in Football."

Dr. Ahmed presented "Treatment & Management of High Ankle Sprain & Syndesmosis Injuries.
