I’m really excited to have been named President of RRMEA. I have been involved in our sister organization TSMA for many years but live, work, and raised my family in Fargo-Moorhead. I am a business consultant at Pro Resources and excited to see this organization flourish.

Job Opening - Exec Director |
Midwest Manufacturers Association (MMA) has an immediate opening for an Executive Director. This position will work remotely within any of the four affiliate territories: Central Minnesota, West Central Minnesota, Duluth/Superior Minnesota and Wisconsin, and Western Minnesota. MMA is the home office to four affiliates: AMFA, CMMA, TSMA, and RRMEA with a total membership of 530 companies or organizations.

Sandy Kashmark, controller and former Executive Director, will be filling the role of interim executive director. She previously served as the ED from 1992-2022. She has served as the controller since 2022. She is available at Bookkeeping@MidwestManufacturers.com

New Membership Committee Chair - Danny Smith |
We are excited to announce Danny Smith, Purchasing Manager at Packet Digital, has been named RRMEA membership chair.
During International Women's Day in March Danny championed an event called EmpowHer - Women in Manufacturing that featured female speakers in different roles in manufacturing. Attendees also toured the Packet Digital plant in Fargo.
Danny and her family live in Barnesville.

Originally from South Dakota, Matt Sather is an NDSU grad who's called Fargo home for over a decade. After spending five years with Jamestown based RealTruck.com in the merchandising and vendor management team, Matt joined Packet Digital and Botlink in 2019. He currently serves as the Marketing Director of Packet Digital and the General Manager of Botlink.

Welcome Carolyn Petruga, Executive Assistant
Carolyn has joined MMA part-time after spending several years in the offices of public education assisting students, parents, and staff. Prior to that she worked as an executive assistant and legal assistant in the Twin Cities.
Carolyn lives in Duluth, Minnesota with her husband Jim, who was once a board member of AMFA and MMA. They have two adult children, one living in Duluth and the other in Chicago.
In Carolyn’s free time you will find her enjoying outdoor activities, this includes riding her horse through the beautiful trails of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and North Dakota. She also loves spending time with family and friends, especially during their weekly board game night.
