Resume Writing Workshop

Tuesday, May 7

6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

We are going to be working with the residents at Miami Rescue Mission's Overtown location on resume writing. This will be our second time working with them and it is such a rewarding experience. We need 10 volunteers to come help work with 9 of their residents as they prepare to re-enter the workforce. Cobb Family Plymouth Emergency Response Fund

Gift to MPM-Haiti

We are pleased to announce that our Emergency Response Fund team has made a gift of $3,000 to MPM-Haiti. MPM-Haiti, located in Les Cayes in southern Haiti, has been providing housing and sustenance for refugees who have fled to Les Cayes from the chaos in Port-au-Prince. Our relationship with MPM-Haiti goes back to 2021, when we supported their relief efforts in the wake of the earthquake in Les Cayes. To learn more about MPM-Haiti, click the link below.

Take A Bag, Fill A Bag

Your family is invited to participate in our Food Drive to support the Coconut Grove Crisis Food Pantry. Bags are available to hand out for you to take home, fill up, and bring it back to us on May 19. Summer Choir News

The last Thursday night rehearsal will be on May 30. Starting June 2 the choir will meet to rehearse at 9:00 am in the choir room for the 10:00 am service.

Nurturing Faith News

Today in Nurturing Faith we will hear the story “Philip and the Ethiopian Official” based on Acts 8:5-6, 26-40. This story teaches us that we can proclaim the good news to everyone. 

We Need Volunteers

Our Sunday morning program needs volunteers for the summer beginning June 2.

Each Sunday will feature Vacation Bible School themed stories, activities and music.

Joyful Noise Choir

Young people ages 4 and up are invited to join the choir for rehearsals on Sunday mornings from 11:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. in McNaughton Hall with Marie Ferguson, Director of Joyful Noise Choir.

 

Be an Acolyte

  • Nurture your spirit with a yoga practice designed to connect movement with scripture readings as a spiritual practice.
  • Join us Saturday mornings. 10:00 - 11:15 a.m.

AA Meetings at Plymouth

Alcoholics Anonymous meetings have been held at Plymouth continuously since 1965. There are in person meetings on campus Monday through Wednesday in the Choir Room, and Thursday in Davis Hall.

 

There are meetings 7 days a week at 5:30 p.m. via Zoom. ID 402 544 037 password: plymouth (lowercase). 

 

There is an in person Al-Anon meeting on Wednesday nights at 8 p.m. in the Choir Room.
