May 2
Happy May! It is hard to believe we are in our last month of the school year!
I am so proud of our student participants in this year’s school play production, “Willy Wonka Junior!” I look forward to enjoying our in-school and evening performances this weekend! Please reference the flyer below for information regarding show dates and tickets.t
Next week, we celebrate our teachers during the annual Teacher Appreciation Week! I am proud to lead such a dedicated, driven, and caring faculty and staff and know they are working their hardest to provide a quality education for your student! Please consider sending a word of thanks, encouragement, and appreciation to your student’s teacher(s) next week!
Even though we are approaching the end of the school year, students do still need to be in the proper school uniform! Please reference the “Uniform Fast Facts” flyer to review important dress code information. The dress code can also be found in the Family Handbook on pages 34-37.
We had many exciting opportunities this week:
- 7th grade Student Ambassador candidates interviewed with Brian Sinchak, President of Lakewood Catholic Academy!
- Students in grades 6-8 attended an assembly and blessing of our new weather station led by Father Anthony and meteorologist Andre Bernier from Fox 8!
- MAP testing continues for all students K-8! Please check with your student’s teacher regarding their testing dates and times.
Next week, we can look forward to:
- The announcement of our Student Ambassador team for next school year!
- Pickup of our PTO Plant Sale purchases!
- Field trips for students in grades K, 2-3, and 6-8
Enjoy your weekend; only three more Mondays left this year!
