We will be featuring candidates for two very important offices at our May Luncheon - Scottsdale Mayor and County Recorder. Several members have said they enjoy being able to compare candidates’ side by side, so this is your opportunity to gather information to make your choice. A 2-candidate panel will be held for each office with each candidate addressing questions provided to me prior to the meeting.

Please submit questions to me prior to the luncheon via e-mail: michaljoyner@gmail.com. I will also have index cards on the tables, but you will need to get these to me before the panel begins. Please remember to indicate the panel (Mayor or Recorder) related to your question.

Scottsdale Mayor Panel

Lisa Borowsky and Linda Milhaven will join our panel as candidates for this office. They both are amazing with a history of service to our community.

County Recorder Panel

Justin Heap and Stephen Richer will present their vision for the Recorders office and also answer questions. 

June and July will also feature primary candidates (June - Scottsdale City Council candidates). Obviously, I cannot feature every single office that is being decided in the Primary, so I am very grateful to both Deb Oberhamer and Jan Stephenson for offering to also utilize their committees for you to hear those running for office.

Donations

In May, we will help home-bound seniors by joining the city of Scottsdale to "Beat the Heat." We will be collecting bottled water, new water bottles, store-bought snacks, $35 grocery gift cards, and more!
