A Pilgrim Church

July 2024

Join Us For Today's Events:

After some private time touring Catholic Charities and the Cathedral, the pilgrims will join Archbishop Fabre for noon Mass at the Cathedral, followed by a procession with the Blessed Sacrament to St. Augustine (approximately 10 blocks).

At St. Augustine, they will have some time to visit with the Archbishop and rest. At 4:30 p.m., St. Augustine will host a Holy Hour with music by the gospel choir.

At 6 p.m., Archbishop Fabre and Archbishop Thompson of Indianapolis will meet for a procession with the Blessed Sacrament across the Big Four bridge. We are not permitted to congregate on the walking bridge itself, so any in procession must not obstruct other foot traffic on the bridge.

All are invited to congregate at the pavilion in the park in Jeffersonville, IN, at the base of the walking bridge. A prayer service with both archbishops will commence at approximately 7 p.m., and the Blessed Sacrament will then continue on to St. Augustine parish in Jeffersonville.

For all public events: We expect some rain and possible severe weather over the next few days. Check social media for any last-minute cancellations. Some of the outdoor processions will include water stops and shuttles, but not all. Please prepare to be responsible for your own transportation, meals, and safety. The arrival and departure times of the processions are approximate.
