Upcoming Events & News

Annual Parish Meeting: St. Paul’s Annual Parish Meeting will be held on Sunday, January 29th, between our 8:00 and 10:30 services. A brunch will we served immediately after the election of new vestry members. Questions and answers will happen during the meal. Printed copies of our annual report will be available in the Narthex beginning this Sunday. 


Pictures for the Directory: If you did not get your picture taken for the new church directory, just ask Brenda Bittle to take your picture when you see her at church or email your picture to the office.


Giving Statements: End of year giving statements are ready to be picked up! You may pick yours up in the Narthex on Sunday morning. If you would prefer yours to be mailed, please call or email Katie at the office. After two Sundays, we will mail out statements that have not been picked up.


Care Team Meeting: The Care Team will meet at 6:00 pm this Sunday evening, January 22nd, in the Parish Hall. 


Exciting ECW Food News! The Episcopal Church Women are planning a soup sale to be held on Saturday, February 11th in the Parish Hall. There will be quarts of soup available for purchase at $15.00/quart. Many varieties will be available. Stock up your freezer! A list of the types of soup will be posted soon. All monies raised will be donated for church projects and other good works. Good soup + good works = win/win!



Foster Grandparent Program: Independence & Izard County schools are in desperate need of Foster Grandparents. White River Area Agency on Aging is recruiting older volunteers, age 55+, to work with special children in these schools. Volunteers will earn a stipend that would not affect any benefits they may be receiving. Giving to St. Paul’s: For those attending online, there are three ways to give: you may mail your gifts to St. Paul’s at PO Box 2255, Batesville, AR. 72503, or make an online contribution by going to our website (stpaulsbatesville.org) and following the link to make a contribution. You may also set up automatic payments through your bank’s Bill Pay service.
