Together Again: Presbytery Meeting Recap
Dozens of Presbyterians made the beautiful drive to First Presbyterian Church in Bentonville to participate in the 151st Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of Arkansas.

It was wonderful being back together again and we have lots of photos (a special thanks to Brian Breeding). Click here if you want to see some of them and read about the meeting.
And The Winner Is...
During lunch on Saturday at the Presbytery meeting, a drawing was held. Four generous Presbyterians donated their lake homes for two night stays.

And the winners were:
  • MWS Karen Akin, Honorably Retired, (pictured right) for two nights on Beaver Lake
  • MWS Stephen Kurtz of Central Fort Smith for two nights on Lake Hamilton
  • RE Barbara Allen of 1st Rogers for two nights on the Little Red River
  • RE Jane Webb of 1st Rogers for two nights on Beaver Lake

A special THANK YOU to our donors: Ted Belden, Jeannie Ford and Collins Andrews, Don and Mari Eilbott, and Tom and Barbara Verdery.
Trunk or Treat/Carnival Events
Throughout The Presbytery
It seems that the Sunday before Halloween this year was THE time for Halloween carnivals and Trunk or Treat events throughout our Presbytery. Trunk or Treat is an event where people park their cars in the church lot then open their decorated trunks and distribute candy to the trick or treating children. There may also be games, activities, and worship services associated with the event. With good advertising, these events will attract people from the community.

Many of our churches posted photos from their events on Presbyark Connect, which is THE place for sharing ideas, events, and questions.
