Greetings, chapter members and friends!

What an amazing April!

April 7 - Jim Tevenan, Janet Ahrend, Matthew Johnson, and Joseph Schubert embarked on a 45-mile route presenting a marathon of Bach at four venues for an enthusiastic, combined audience of 270. Thank you, Bachathon team!

April 28 - Our eight Organ Academy members distinguished themselves in recital at Central Lutheran Church for an audience of 150. These fine, young people can be very proud of their performances! Amazing work took place during the 12-weeks of lessons and Saturday practice sessions.

Thank you organists, parents, teachers, Saturday practice venue hosts, recital venue, and reception food contributors. Indefatigable, Janet Ahrend and Carolyn Payne were at every Saturday session, giving extra lessons and providing encouragement. The chapter is especially grateful for the generous gift given by Andrew and Elizabeth Law in support of the Organ Academy!

Particularly notable was the large number of young people in the Bachathon and Organ Academy recital audiences. There IS hope for the future!

Very best regards, Ed
