Congregational Meeting

On Sunday, April 28 we gathered for our Spring Congregational Meeting. We moved further into the implementation of a new organizational structure by affirming a “Leadership Team.” Those who will serve on this body are: Bonnie Overcott, Bob Weides, Kathy McGillivray, Bill Weller, and Heather Polhemus. These leaders have decided that they will serve in the following roles: Heather (Chair), Kathy (Vice-Chair), Bonnie (Secretary), Bill (Finance). These friends will take office on June 1 and our fresh governance structure will be in full implementation. Let’s be praying for each of them!

Congregational Meal

Who said “Pot-lucks” were a thing of the past? Amazingly, this tradition has new life @ Crosstown as we enjoyed a glorious meal on April 28. We want to thank our meal coordinators Dennis Olson and Bob Weides for their amazing ministry in facilitating that feast! Plus, our gratitude is extended to Moises and Isaiah in the Dishroom. Their ministry of cleaning-up was absolutely amazing!

Core Class Gathering

Do you consider Crosstown YOUR church? “CORE” class is an opportunity to learn more about the CORE of Crosstown! We’ll focus on the heart of who we are as a church, by looking at the core values and mission. CORE will gather for 2-sessions - May 8 and 15 @ 6:30 pm. Participating in CORE is a step in the membership process but does not obligate you to make that decision.
