I was reminded that no matter what changes come our way, each year we celebrate the life and work of Jesus. He is our constant every day of every year. “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever” (Hebrews 13:8).

UPCOMING EVENTS

Our annual Pentecost Celebration is scheduled for Sunday, May 19th, at 10 AM. This event brings together all seven different congregations that meet in our church building, uniting people from various cultures and languages. It's a unique experience to witness so many diversities worshipping on our campus every weekend, culminating in this special annual gathering. This celebration embodies the message of including all peoples, languages, and cultures in God's mission and kingdom, a message we live out and encourage all Prince of Peace members to join. Your presence not only brings blessings but also shows support for our global Christian family. Your participation is crucial to demonstrate love and solidarity.

Please note some vital details regarding this significant event.

Firstly, there will be a single worship service for the entire weekend, taking place on Sunday at 10 AM. This means there will be no Saturday service at 5:30, no Sunday service at 8:00, and no Sunday service at 10:30; solely the 10 AM service on Sunday.

Secondly, following the worship session, a fellowship potluck meal is planned. Kindly prepare to bring a substantial dish to share and drop it off in the kitchen before the service commences.

All students in Grades 1-6 are invited to join us for an evening of fellowship, games, and fun! On Saturday, May 18th, from 6:45pm to 8:15pm, Club 123 (for Grades 1-3) will meet in Room 9, and Club 456 (for Grades 4-6) will meet in the Youth Room. Both groups will have pizza and many fun games and activities. Please click the scan code to register your child by May 15th if they plan to attend!

On June 9th, at both the 8am and 10:30am services, we will be honoring those who are graduating from high school, college, graduate school, trade school, apprenticeship programs, and the like. We will be offering a blessing and a small gift to all those registered. Please submit this form by Wednesday, June 5th to register a graduate.

We are offering four weeks of growing together fun this summer at Prince of Peace Lutheran School.

Camp is offered for children ages 3 to 6 years old who are fully potty-trained.

Four sessions are offered, with each week including special crafts and activities:

1. June 3-7

2. June 10-14

3. June 17-21

4. June 24-28

Each week will include its own group activities, games, and crafts.

A morning snack is provided and children bring their own insulated lunch.

Prince of Peace Youth Ministry is going on a Mission Trip to Charleston, SC on July 6th-12th, 2024. There, we will work to make a lasting difference through community service projects with local ministries and nonprofits. All students entering Grades 7-12 this Fall are invited to join us.
