Dear Roslyn Families,
As we head into the Thanksgiving holiday break, I want to take the opportunity to share with you what I am most grateful for this year.
I am thankful for our students who come to school every day ready to learn. I am thankful for the supportive partnerships we have with the parents in our district.
I am thankful for the teachers, paraprofessionals, nurses, bus drivers, custodial and maintenance staff, clerical staff, food service staff, therapists, guidance counselors, support staff, and my administrative team, who always have the best interests of our students at heart. I also want to give a tremendous thank you to our Roslyn Board of Education for their continued support, and the PFA’s for their valuable partnership. In challenging times, these are the people who make sure that our schools continue to thrive.
If you’re looking for things to be grateful for this holiday season, you need only take a look at our school district website to see all the wonderful things your children have accomplished!
I wish all of you and your families a happy, healthy and relaxing Thanksgiving holiday!
Sincerely,
Allison Brown
Superintendent of Schools
