In case of inclement weather, the parade will be held in the gym. When you arrive, please pull into your grade-level lane as you do for dismissal.

Entrance for all parents will be through the rear gym door. Please be sure you have your ID with you.

All Saints Day

Tuesday, November 1, 2022, is All Saints Day. It is the feast day of our school and a Holy Day of Obligation. All Saints Day is a day to honor all of the saints in the Catholic Church known and unknown.

Grades 3 - 8 will celebrate the day by attending Mass at 10:00 AM at St Philip Parish in Norwalk. Mass will be celebrated by our spiritual director, Fr. Christopher Perrella. The Mass will include the annual Parade of Saints. Transportation will be by bus ( 1.3 mi.). A permission slip has been sent home. Parents are invited to join us at Mass.

Preschool - Grade 2 will celebrate this special day with a special prayer service in the school chapel focusing on “the lives of the saints” led by Fr. Perrella. All children will receive a special gift.

Safe Environments

The Safe Environment training provided by the Diocese of Bridgeport will continue in all of our schools using the Think First & Stay Safe. The training will take place in our school during the month of November. Safe Environment training teaches students important safety skills to help children recognize and safely respond to early warning signs of unsafe situations in their environment. The Think First program is delivered by a trained counselor from Catholic Charities in age-appropriate groups as we have done with great success for the last 9 years.

In the Diocese of Bridgeport we recognize parents as the primary educators of their children. It is important to know that classroom sessions are intended to assist you as parents by reinforcing and strengthening the safety information that you are teaching your child at home. Prior to the program, we ask that you review the safety information from your parent guide with your child. If you are new to the school year the parent guide will be sent home. Personal safety training for children is most effective when it is taught and reinforced over time and your participation in this effort is critical.

If for any reason you DO NOT wish for your child to participate in Safe Environment training during the 2022-2023 school year we must receive the opt-out form here signed by you no later than Nov 1. If we do not receive this form by this date your child will be permitted to attend.

Our dad's group will have its first meeting tonight!

The purpose of the group is to have relaxed discussions over drinks using a book that we all read as a point of departure. (Note: Non-drinkers are also welcome!) We’ll get to know one another better and have some great discussions about God and how we can grow closer to him.

The first meeting will be on Thursday, Oct 27 from 7-8pm in the faculty lounge on the second floor. Fr. Perrella will give out copies of the book the group will be reading and introduce everyone to the format of the group.

After the intro meeting, Books and Beer will meet every 3rd Thursday evening of the month from 7-8pm at All Saints Catholic School in the faculty lounge on the second floor. Come and join us for brotherhood and some good discussion.

If you would like to join, please email Fr. Perrella so he can keep you updated about the group. His email address is [email protected].
