Baptism Prep Classes
This Sunday, July 21 & Aug 4
9:15 - 10:10 AM
All are welcome to join Rev. Vicki this Sunday, July 21 downstairs in the High School room for her second baptism prep class where she'll be looking at Baptism in Liturgy and Scripture. Session 3: Baptism in Symbols and Actions will be held in two weeks on August 4. We currently have baptisms planned for All Saints' Day on November 3 and upon the visitation of Bishop Kym Lucas on November 17, and of course more dates will follow in 2025. If you desire to be baptized, we would love to "welcome you into the household of God." Please click below to complete the Baptism Request Form if you haven't already done so.

Fall Supper Club
FINAL CALL!
So far we have 32 households (52 people) signed up to participate in St. Mike's Fall Supper Club. Don't miss out! The deadline to register for this next four-month rotation (August-November) is today, Friday, July 19. So please click below if you are interested in learning more or joining. Nursery Families Outing
This Saturday, July 20

Families with a child in the nursery (5 and under) are invited to meet at John Venezia Park (intersection of Briargate and Union) tomorrow morning, July 20 for a Splash Pad Day! Bible Women Study Group
Concludes next Monday, July 22
4:00 - 5:30 PM
The final meeting of Rev. Vicki's four-week study of the women of the bible is next Monday, July 22. Even if you've missed the previous sessions, you are still more than welcome to join the group of roughly 25 in attendance each week!

Hearing Loss Support
New Ministry Meeting
Next Monday, July 22
St. Michael’s has initiated a NEW ministry for those with hearing loss and those who live with or support them. We encourage you to consider joining this ministry and attending their next meeting on Monday, July 22 from 6:00 - 7:15 PM.
We also invite those challenged with hearing loss - whether or not you wear hearing aids - to try out one of the listening devices you can find in the foyer for an upcoming service. Those without hearing aids can use the earpieces. Those with Bluetooth hearing aids can use the device WITHOUT the earpiece to connect through the T-Coil profile on your hearing aids. Outdoor Worship & Parish Picnic
Next Sunday, July 28
Our July Outdoor Worship Service and Parish Picnic are next Sunday. Join for the 10:30 AM service outdoors - hopefully our weather will cooperate this month - and then plan to stay for fellowship and food. We will mark Rev. Frank's final Sunday with us with his favorite, Blue Bell ice cream! (Suggested donation $5 per person / $20 per family.) No RSVP to attend, but we are still needing volunteers to assist with setting up, serving, and cleaning up, so please click below if you can help.

Vespers in the Garden
August 1, 7:00 PM
At this year’s Vespers in the Garden on the evening of Thursday, August 1, we will be marking the feast of St. Mary Magdalene, considered one of the most mystical feasts because of her great love and ardent following of Jesus. All are invited to come enjoy a time of prayer, followed by fellowship over lemonade, wine and desserts. This is a wonderful opportunity to reconnect with friends, meet newcomers, and offer God thanksgiving and praise. No RSVP required.

St. Mike's Golf Outing
Saturday, September 7
Register by August 15!
Half of the tee times are already filled for the 6th annual St. Mike's Golf Outing that will be held at The Country Club of Colorado on Saturday, September 7, beginning at noon. The cost for 18 holes with a cart (and all must ride) is $95. This will be a Scramble format, and you may register as a team of two or four, or you may simply register yourself and you will be assigned to a foursome. SMASH Outing
Friday, August 16
Join the SMASH group (St. Michael’s Active Seniors Happening group) for a 10:00 AM tour of the Castle at Cherokee Ranch in Sedalia followed by lunch at Danielle’s Scratch Kitchen in Castle Rock on the way home. The group will be carpooling from the church, so you don’t need to worry about having to drive. Creative Arts Festival
Share Your Gifts
August 18
You are invited to participate in the second St. Michael's Creative Arts Festival on August 18 after both the 8:00 AM and 10:30 AM services. Display the fruits of your creative endeavors on a table and share with those who visit you how these activities impact and enrich your prayer life, spiritual practices, and relationship with God. If you have children who are creative, they are most welcome to join you and share how God is in their activities as well. Interactive demonstrations and in-progress works are welcome. To participate or to learn more, click below, and sign up by August 10.
*Note that Rib-a-Palooza previously advertised as the kickoff to the Creative Arts Festival will now be on Saturday, August 24. More details to come.

IHN Hosting Week
September 1 - 8
Volunteer Jobs for All!
After successfully providing temporary shelter, showers, and meals for several families at St. Michael’s during Holy Week in partnership with IHN, we are blessed to have the opportunity to share our space and our love again during the week of September 1 – 8. There are jobs for everyone – some that need to happen in advance to get the building ready, opportunities to cook and clean during the week, and even laundry washing that can be done in your home at your convenience. Children and youth are invited to participate by accompanying adult volunteers. Backpack Bash 4.0
Deadline for Donations: July 28
The deadline for returning backpacks and school supplies for this year's Backpack Bash is quickly approaching! Please help us meet our goal of donating at least 60 backpacks filled with supplies to our Outreach partners. You can still pick up a flyer in the Gathering Space or click below to download/print the supply list which includes a QR code to buy online and ship directly to the church via Amazon. Please drop off donations before next Sunday, July 28 in the bins in the Gathering Space. Thanks in advance for your support again this year!

Handbell Workshop
August 4, Noon - 2:00 PM
If you missed the handbell workshop a couple of weeks ago, don't worry, there is another coming up on August 4 from 12:00 - 2:00 downstairs in the handbell practice room. These workshops are for those who have never rung bells but are possibly interested in playing as well as current bell ringers who want to improve their technique. No commitment is required to attend! As an added bonus, we now have a new three-octave set of hand chimes to play!
