Children and Youth Sunday!

April 26, 2024

Dear Trinity Families of Children & Youth,

This Sunday is a wonderful chance to see some of our brightest young faces in the church! Children and Youth Sunday is the one Sunday a year that kids in the Level 2 and Level 3 atria shadow adults in a variety of roles in the main 10am service in order to learn more about how the church functions every week. This year, our kids will be shadowing all types of adult roles from Priest and Deacon to Usher and Greeter! It is going to be a wonderful and lively service, and I hope to see you there!

If you haven't already had your kids sign up, (and received a confirmation email from me) please reach out and we can find a way for your kids to contribute to the service if they would like to help out last-minute with a role!

Next Wednesday, May 1, we will be continuing with Kid's Club in the Parish Hall. Please RSVP to me by Tuesday, April 30 if you plan to drop of your kiddos for a couple hours of dinner and fun while you enjoy a free evening.

Children and Youth Sunday is the Fifth Sunday of Easter, and we are continuing with our liturgical celebration of Eastertide, leading to Pentecost in May.

I hope to see you this Sunday,

Theo Patterson

Kid's Club

This spring, we are resuming our Kid's Club gatherings, 5:30-7:30pm in the Parish Hall. We are still in need of a few volunteers to help with this ministry on May 29! If you are able to serve, please contact Theo by replying to this email.

Atrium Anthem

Students in CGS Level 3 will be rehearsing with Doug Clegg on the morning of May 5 in order to perform an anthem in the May 5th Sunday service! We are so excited to hear the talented voices of some of our younger parishioners!

Please contact Doug Clegg for more information about this anthem performance!

Baptism Book

A treasured tradition for kids in the Level 1 atrium is to leaf through pictures of different baptisms in order to remember this sacrament in their lives and in the lives of others in our community. Level 1 Catechists Mac and Stephanie are hoping to collect more images of kid's baptisms to add to this book. If your child is in Level 1 and you feel comfortable sharing a photo from their baptism with Theo, either digitally or physically, it would be greatly appreciated!
