Come and participate in this morning of hands on projects when we act on our Christian commitment to human flourishing in all places. All hands are needed and welcome.


HANDS-ON PROJECTS

Monday, January 20, 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM, Assembly Room


We will be making pet blankets for orphaned animals, putting together sack lunches for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen (TASK), assembling Creativity Kits for HomeFront, collecting personal care products for Arm in Arm clients and making calendars for ABC Literacy. Donation items are listed below. (All items must be new.)

We will work with Friends of Princeton Open Space to remove invasive species within riparian restoration project areas, as well as install deer-exclusion caging to protect young tree saplings. Registration Required, choose the PM Session.

Music from Opera for Solo and Duo Piano

Westminster Conservatory faculty members Inessa Gleyzerova and Galina Prilutskaya will present a recital for duo and solo piano drawn from operas and operettas by Mozart, Verdi, Tchaikovsky, and Strauss. The recital is open to the public free of charge.

Multi-Faith Community Worship Service

First Baptist Church of Princeton, 119 John Street


Join us for a Multi-Faith celebration of the life, faith, and legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Sponsored by the Princeton Clergy Association and the Coalition for Peace Action. You are invited to join the community choir. All music will be provided at the rehearsal on Monday, January 13, 7:30-9:00PM at First Baptist Church, and we’ll gather at 6:00PM on January 20 before the service.

Art of Faithfulness Mid-Winter Small Group

Mondays, January 27 - February 24, 7:00 PM, Conference Room and Zoom


Join Roz Anderson Flood for the small group, Poetry as Memoir: Exploring the Origins of Our Faith. In this workshop we will develop poems, which are “mini-memoirs,” designed to reveal the origins of our faith. For inspiration we will read the works of other poets, practiced in narrative and confessional poetic expression. Some of our sessions will also feature guest poets who will share secrets of their craft.

“A Quarter Century of Creativity,” Trenton Community A-Team’s New-Year exhibit, kicks off a year-long celebration of the TCAT’s 25th anniversary. Since its founding, TCAT has been a beacon for Trenton artists, fostering creativity and showcasing the incredible talent of the community. This exhibit features diverse works that reflect the passion, resilience, and vision of its artists. 


Children and Youth Conference Room Art Show

The month of February is reserved to display the artwork of Nassau's children and youth! Bring drawings, paintings, poetry, pottery, crafts, photography, whatever artwork your kids would like to share with our congregation. We look forward to holding up their handiwork.

While the building remains locked on some weekdays, administrative staff are onsite full time and program staff are in the office regularly. Please use the doorbell at the ramp entrance if you need access when the church office is open. If you need to drop something off, the locked drop box at the bottom of the ramp is checked daily.
