December is always a busy month for most people, the holidays will be here before we know it.  It's always a time to think about supporting others who may be less fortunate than ourselves.  Nevins is proud to be a drop off point for the Friday Food Backpack program that provides food on weekends for those deserving students on the meal program who might otherwise go hungry over the weekend.   If you wish to donate, there is a basket just in the main entrance to accept your items.  We are fortunate to have such caring and thoughtful patrons and we would like to thank you all in advance for your generosity to our most needy families, it is appreciated.

Binge Boxes - What are They?

Have you ever watched the weather report and said "I'm just staying in this weekend, what's on TV?" Or maybe you've thought "I really want to watch that series I've been hearing so much about, how can I catch up?"   The Nevins Library has your answer - DVD Binge Boxes!  These boxes hold up to five movies or three TV seasons and can be borrowed for a week at a time.  Some boxes are themed, such as Traditional Holiday Favorites or Girl's Night and some feature the work of some of our favorite actors, such as John Wayne or Julia Roberts.  They will be available very soon, so check them out next time you're at the Library!  New boxes will be added regularly as well, so let us know if there is a theme, show or actor you'd like us to feature! For more information about DVD Binge Boxes at the Nevins Library, call 978-686-4080 ext. 2.
