Back to School and Back to the Cabin

Welcome back to school - Tam High started on Wednesday, Mill Valley Middle School and Tam Valley started today. We hope everyone had a wonderful summer and send out best wishes for a wonderful school year especially to all our wonderful high school aged helpers who made Creekside possible!

Now it's time to head down to the Cabin for Creekside Unplugged. Join us tomorrow evening for the Fog Burners! Remember to bring a picnic, something yummy to drink and a blanket or a chair to sit on. We'll have some benches out and the picnic tables but we won't be serving beverages or food at this event. It's an earlier start time of 5pm, so head on down and enjoy time with family and friends.

Oktoberfest is September 21st - save the date and keep an eye out here, tickets go on sale next week!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Honoring Tia This Weekend

Tia has been a pillar in our community for decades; from Tia’s before/after school programs, Girl Scout troops, volunteering at the Mountain Play, the Marin County Fair, and Tam Valley Community Center events, she has made a huge impact on our community.

Local parents have come together to honor Tia and all she has done in Tam Valley. Of course Tia doesn't like it to be all about her so they made it a reunion for all the kids she has helped along the way.

We all have Tia stories, some of the legend is true, some not so much. But there is so much to know! Her daughters put together a short bio so you can read more about her extraordinary life:

Read more about her life and how she has contributed to our community here.

See below for more information about Kid's Day and how you can join in the celebration.

Vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Commission
