Patrons will soon be able to once again access Ancestrylibrary.com for free! Research your family tree, discover new ancestors, and learn more about your family's history. This database can be accessed on Library computers, or using the Library's wifi.

Funding for Ancestrylibrary.com was made possible through a grant from Assemblymember Jonathan Jacobson!

Our popular Local History Trivia Night continues! From the comfort of your own home, test your knowledge of Marlborough in this relaxed environment. Our trivia night is less about knowing the answers and more about connecting with friends, old and new, and learning something unexpected about the town’s history.
 
Registration is required. Register to participate or just listen in. 
Marlborough Makers Club Adult Craft:
Cozy Winter Garland
Wednesday, January 18, 6:30 pm
Decorate your own adorable garland using gouache paint and celebrate hygge, the feeling of being cozy and content, this winter.

Craft sessions will be in-person in the community room. Spaces are limited. Please note: A Take & Make option is not available for this craft.
Poetry as Memoir, Memoir as Poetry
Writing Workshop with Linda Freeman
Sunday, January 22, 1:30 - 3:00 pm
In this roll-up-our-sleeves writing workshop, we will get to work with pen and paper to unleash your stories and memories and explore poetic devices that can make them sing. This will be a fun, supportive, creative writing workshop designed to get your words flowing.

Thank you to New York State Assemblymember Jonathan Jacobson for awarding a $10,000 grant to the Marlboro Library! This funding will allow the Library to expand its e-book and museum pass collections and purchase a three year subscription to Ancestrylibrary.com.
