The Jewish Women's Center of Pittsburgh was founded in 1992 to bring the viewpoint of women into Jewish rituals, practices, and spiritual experiences. In its 27 years, it has woven that viewpoint through every major Jewish holiday, ritual, and tradition. It became especially known for its monthly Rosh Chodesh celebrations and its annual Women's Passover Seders.
As it now prepares to close, the Jewish Women's Center of Pittsburgh invites the public to join it for a retrospective to celebrate more than quarter century of accomplishments, reflect on the progress of Jewish feminism, and look to the future of our vibrant Pittsburgh Jewish community.
The Jewish Women's Center will also donate its records to the Rauh Jewish History Program & Archives.
Come mingle, reminisce, and enjoy light refreshments. Dietary laws observed.

This program is free and open to the public but does not include museum admission.
