Three things from ATI

Friday, 9 Aug 2024

Where did the summer go? Kids in the US are already back to school or will be soon. Our kids in Haiti return next month. Back to School time is a natural time to discuss our sponsorship program. As more families flee Port-au-Prince for the relative safety of Piton, our school attendance is swelling; making the sponsorship program even more important.

Also, as you know, our little medical clinic has been running overtime as people from the mountain come to Piton for care rather than risk the travel to nearby cities. Even if they did, the local hospitals are not able to provide care. Our little clinic is being utilized now more than ever.

It's important that my updates not be all about money. But sometimes they have to be! Thanks for understanding that and thanks for being here,

Back to School!

Summer camp goes through Aug. 30 and school begins in September! Samuel works full time to keep the children in the village engaged.

Our sponsorship program is so important for this new school year. New students are seeking refuge in Piton with their families.

Won't you consider sponsoring one? You won't regret it!

Urgent need for meds. Again!

Man. I've been talking a lot to you lately about our need for medical supplies & medications. Our demand has increased exponentially this year because the nearest hospitals are not able to provide care. Many people on the mountain are coming to our clinic for help.
