Online registration is now open for the Montauk Ocean Swim Challenge, taking place July 23rd at Ditch Plains Beach. Presented by the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation in collaboration with East Hampton Volunteer Ocean Rescue and the Montauk Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center, proceeds will benefit the Montauk Playhouse Community Center Foundation’s future Aquatic and Community Arts Centers. JUNE IS SURFING MONTH AT THE MONTAUK LIBRARY
|
During the month of June, the Montauk Library will spotlight surfing through a variety of programs, exhibits, and films. Highlights include a display of surfing memorabilia from Tony Caramanico's collection in the Local History Center; a talk with William Finnegan, author of Barbarian Days, on June 14th; and screenings of classic surf films and documentaries. ANNUAL BLESSING OF THE FLEET
|
The Blessing of the Fleet takes place Sunday, June 11 at 5 pm at the Town Dock. Watercraft of all kind — from commercial fishing vessels to sailboats — turn out for this popular annual event, marking the start of the summer season.

BEACON OF HOPE 5K RUN/WALK
|
The Beacon of Hope 5K Walk/Run is Saturday, June 17 at 9am. The course runs through Camp Hero and finishes at the Montauk Lighthouse. Proceeds benefit Coalition for Women's Cancers and Lucia's Angels. For more info. and to register, click here.

MONTAUK COMMUNITY CHURCH RUMMAGE SALE

The weekly rummage sale at the Montauk Community Church, run by the Ladies Guild, is every Saturday, from 9am - 12 pm, through Labor Day weekend. Look for housewares, clothing, jewelry, games, books, linens—and more!

MONDAY NIGHT CONCERTS ON THE GREEN

Starting Monday, June 26—with the Joe Delia Band—and running weekly through the summer, the Chamber's free Monday Night Concerts on the Green take place from 6 - 8 pm with different weekly musical guests.
