Introducing: Hot Titles
We are pleased to announce a new “Hot Titles” Collection!

These “Hot Titles” are those highly popular, newer books, with long wait lists available on a first come-first served basis. We still recommend placing hold requests for anything you’re looking for, but while you’re patiently waiting, you may want to check the “Hot Titles” collection to see if it’s your lucky day!

If you're facing the Main Desk, these books are located to the right of it. They are mostly novels for adults, but don’t be surprised if you start seeing some adult nonfiction or books for teens there too.

These are first come-first served, so staff will not be able to hold it for you, and you won’t be able to renew it. And you’ll only be able to take one of these at a time, and they can be borrowed for 14 days (which is less time than other books) so that they can quickly go and make the next reader’s lucky day!

If you have any questions, please see anyone at the Main Desk.

Who's Ready for this year's Summer Programs?!?!
We are so excited that it’s time to launch another season of wonderful summer programs and activities.

In June you can look forward to meeting reptiles, learning Brazilian drumming, doing tie-dye, performing karaoke, and building some imaginative creations.

We also welcome the return of our Friday Little Bookworms storytimes at the MSPA at Nevins Farm (beginning June 9), where kids listen to stories and then get to meet an animal who lives at the farm.

And of course we’ve got snazzy beads to offer kids who participate in our summer programs and contests – beginning June 20, come by the library to pick up your summer program bag of goodies and start your Bead Bonanza collection. (Your child doesn’t have to be school-age to participate and to earn beads, by the way.)

As ever, we’ll also have our usual array of infant and preschool programs, storytimes, and book groups, as well as a Ten to Teen journaling workshop, another Homeschool Hub session, and of course Murphy the Dog will pay us a visit.

At this time, registration is open for June programs, but we also have more great events throughout the summer; keep eye on our calendar and Facebook as we post July programs (registration opens June 15) and August programs (registration opens July 15) – there’s much fun in store!

Happy June, and Happy Reading
