An Announcement from Rabbi Kleinbaum
On December 15th, Rabbi Kleinbaum informed CBST’s membership that she would step down from her position as the synagogue’s Senior Rabbi in the summer of 2024. At the Annual Meeting on the 16th, and after Shabbat services on the 17th, Rabbi Kleinbaum and Board President Sabrina Farber held Q&A sessions to discuss what the news means for Rabbi Kleinbaum and the CBST community. There will be an online Town Hall for members on Monday, January 9th, at 6:00 p.m. Read the announcement letters from Rabbi Kleinbaum and Sabrina Farber here.
Happy New Year!
Just a few hours after havdalah, we will leave 2022 behind and enter into 2023. We are so grateful for all that you have helped CBST accomplish this past year, through your volunteering, through adding your voices to our Shabbat and holiday services, through showing up for shiva minyanim and celebrating at simchas, through donating to CBST to keep our community strong and healthy. May 2023 bring deeper connection to our community and stronger commitment to being spiritual, joyful, and proud. Happy new year!

—Rabbi Sharon Kleinbaum, Rabbi Yael Werber, Cantor Sam Rosen,
Rabbi Mike Moskowitz, and Rabbi Marisa James
