Changes to the online Directory will be made monthly.  To see the specific change, go to the online directory at uucgt.org. Go to “About Us”, then go to “Members and Friends Only”.  You will need the password to get into this section.  If you have not already done so, call the office to get the password.

Needed: Landscaping Co-Chair/Chair

This will suit someone who is a decent organizer; cares deeply about our surroundings; is willing to learn when needed (what is pine rust anyhow?); can delegate well; and who also is willing to work with other UUCGT committees (mostly Facilities, but sometimes many others).

Someone who:

• Will become Chair after an initial Co-Chair period (2023)
• Is able to organize and direct volunteers
• Previous gardening or landscaping experience is helpful, but not required
• Needs to write an Annual Report for the Board

Time required is very flexible:

• Time can be limited to 3 Season work: Spring, Summer, Fall, done when it is convenient for you
•  All documents for major plans and work completed are available; no further development work required (no Meeting schedule!)
• Volunteer Teams already assembled and able to carry out duties
• Co-Chair need only write up internal press releases and notifications

Needed: Memorial Reception Co-Chair

Time needed is minimal:

• No meetings needed
• All processes, procedures already determined, and in writing available for you!
• You only take on about half of the Receptions in a year.

We need Someone who:

• Can be available for organizing a Memorial Reception when needed (generally following a Memorial Service – we never know when this will happen)
• Can ask for for volunteers for a Reception (may be different volunteers each time); several methods for organizing them are open to you)
• Supervises the Reception, and helps out as needed.
• Writes, or assists with writing, an Annual Report for the UUCGT Board.

Death Cafe Reminder

Death Cafe will meet the third Wednesday of every month, from 1:30-3:30pm in the Sanctuary, beginning February 15.
