Rev Meg was surprised by the outpouring of birthday cards, text messages, Double Stuf Oreos, cupcakes, plants and well wishes!

Our combined effort among the congregation, the preschool and our youth group made her day special.

Now - if you see Cara on Sunday morning, be sure to wish her a happy birthday too! Her's comes shortly after Rev Meg’s!

This week we welcome Immanuel member Amanda Hornberger as our guest speaker. She will be sharing experiences from her July Israel Trip.

• Faith Formation classes for ages Pre-K - 6th grade Sunday mornings at 10:15am. Meet in Fellowship Hall before class starts for a snack and drink and then at 10:15am we'll move to classrooms until 11am when children will return to Fellowship Hall to meet their parent/guardian. If you've not updated your family information for 2022-2023 yet please do so here.

• Kid's Music on Tuesdays - As we journey towards Advent, WE ARE SHIFTING the timing of kids music on Tuesdays for more involvement & activity time. IN NOVEMBER, TUESDAY KIDS MUSIC TIMES ARE 4:15-5:30 pm; 4:15-4:30 pm Gather/Play/Socialize (allows for some of the late drop-offs); 4:30 pm Activities begin, which include singing, ringing, and pageant preparation. December 18th - Kids Choir will sing in worship at 9am

Christmas Eve Festival Choir

All ages & voices are invited to lend your voice to our Christmas Eve Festival Choir. Join us for traditional hymns and anthems. We will be working on the music throughout the Advent season. Special Christmas-Eve only rehearsals on 12/22 and 12/24 at 7PM and sign at 8PM Christmas Eve Worship. Please sign up here to indicate your participation.

Help Immanuel kick off the Christmas season with our Crafting our Way to Christmas Event! Previously known as the "Advent Event", Crafting to Christmas will feature crafts for adults and kids of all ages, music and a lesson, a preschool story room, snacks, cookie decorating, advent wreath-making, and so much more! Join us on Sunday, November 27th, beginning at 10:15am in the Fellowship Hall. We can't wait to see you there! We are excited to announcement that an Immanuel member has made a

$10, 000 contribution to kick-off the Giving Tuesday: Giving Space intiative!

This year IUCC’s participation, GivingTuesday: Giving Space, aims to secure funds for property projects and upgrades. While not glamorous, these projects and upgrades are critical to Immanuel being good neighbors, financial & environmental stewards, and community members – ensuring safe & functional spaces. As we count down the days to Giving Tuesday, we will be spotlighting all the ways our SPACE supports our people, ministries and community.
