RIBBON CUTTING
Grand Lake Barre
Welcome Grand Lake Barre! The cool rainy morning didn’t keep the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce ambassadors away for a ribbon cutting for new Chamber member Grand Lake Barre. Grand Lake Barre is celebrating their 3rd anniversary as well as their new location this week. They are currently located at 414 E. 3rd St. in Grove and have just recently moved their business from Monkey Island to Grove.
Grand Lake Barre offers a full body workout set to music, mostly using body weight. Barre incorporates small isolated movements to fatigue the muscles, large range of motion to elevate the heart rate, and sequencing that incorporates upper and lower body. Muscle is built by body weight strength training, hand weights & resistance props.
The repetition experienced in barre is fatiguing the targeted muscle or muscle group. Fatigue is the results of isometric movement which is compressing without fully contracting, very low impact. Continued practice will start to create lean muscles.
Attending the ribbon cutting were John Sawyer, The Cole OrganizationTrudy LennemannGrand River Abstract & Title Co.Angela Jeanell Maze-Hamilton, Grand River Abstract & Title Co.; Todd DeakinsAmerican Financial Network IncKirby Kelly ZumwaltGrand Lake Barre; Cutting the ribbon Lauren Hinman, Grand Lake Barre; Gary Laird; Alex Hinman, Grand Lake Barre; Jay Alexander, Grand Savings Bank; and Connie King, Grove Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President.
