Community Meeting on Aug. 7: Making Early Learning Programs More Inclusive

Help us make more inclusive spaces for children! First 5 Contra Costa is leading a community planning process to develop a plan to make early care and education (ECE) services in our county more inclusive for ALL children from birth to age 5 with disabilities (diagnosed or undiagnosed), developmental delays and/or social-emotional concerns.


Join us on August 7 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center to share your insights and feedback on this important topic and the draft recommendations emerging from this community process.


Input will help guide future investments to address inclusion for young children in ECE settings. Dinner & interpretation available!

Board of Supervisors to Adopt the Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget 

The Contra Costa County Board of Supervisors adopted the $5.996 billion Fiscal Year 2024-2025 County and Special Districts Budget. The budget reflects the Board’s ongoing efforts to provide diverse, equitable, inclusive, and accessible services that improve the quality of life for residents. California Competes Tax Credit

The State of California is accepting applications for the California Competes Tax Credit (CCTC) from July 22 through August 12.


CCTC is an income tax credit available to businesses that want to locate or stay and grow in California. Businesses of any industry or size can compete for over $180 million in tax credits.
