Happy New Year! The Library Turns 100!

Happy New Year! 2023 will be a monumental year at the Tipp City Library as we turn 100 years old!!! We will be sharing fun insights into the last 100 years of TCPL's history through out the year as well as hosting some fun programs and events to celebrate. Did you know that before our home at 11 E Main St., the library was housed on the second floor of the old city building. Stay tuned throughout the year for more fun updates and events.

The 2023 Winter Reading Challenge is Here

From Jan. 1 to Jan. 31, Tipp City Public Library is participating in “All the Feels,” the 2023 Winter Reading Challenge sponsored by Beanstack. We challenge our patrons to read at least 4 books during the month and keep track of their reading on our Beanstack site at https://tippcitylibrary.beanstack.org/ or on the Beanstack mobile app.

Thousands of other libraries and schools across the nation are joining in too, for a chance at winning cash prizes for their community. This year we will use a BINGO card format, which can be accessed on Beanstack, or you can come into the library to pick up a paper bingo card beginning Dec. 26. If you choose to do the activities on the Bingo card in addition to reading, you’ll earn a “coverall” and be eligible for more raffle tickets toward our Grand Prize Raffle the first week in February. More information will be available in January on the prizes you can win.

Everyone who reads at least 1 book by January 13th will be invited to the Skating Party at Hobart Arena on January 14th from 4:15-5:45 p.m..
