The Most Wonderful Day of the Year

Thank you to all our volunteers, neighbors, board and staff members, and sponsors for supporting the inaugural Havertown Holiday Festival. From our curated marketplace to our local food and beverage vendors and businesses on the boulevard-all had an exceptional day. The sounds from our stage helped to bring the holiday season to life. Haverford Middle Schools 7th Heaven shared their talent with the audience, members from Haverford Dance Center sprinkled snowflakes and sugarplums on the boulevard The children were mesmerized by the ice sculptor and we can't forget about our Frozen friends. Santa and Buddy the Elf helped us count down to the tree lighting as we caroled with neighbors and friends. Plastic Bag Ordinance

In April 2022, the Board of Commissioners passed an ordinance to reduce the use of single-use plastics throughout our community. The ordinance has officially gone into effect as of January 2, 2023.  Full information about the transition away from single-use plastics and answers to frequently asked questions can be found on the Haverford Township website @ https://havtwp.org/Plastic_Free.html
