Grant Awards

We are pleased to report that two Coastlands congregations have received denominational grants.

The General Assembly's Office of Middle Eastern Ministries has awarded $4,000 to the Arabic Evangelical Presbyterian Church NWC for a summer youth camp. Rev. Nagy Hanna leads this camp opportunity for the church youth.
The Mission & Ministries Commission of the Synod of the Northeast has awarded $7,500 to "Bending the Moral Arc,” a conversation partnership between Witherspoon Street PC and Nassau PC that seeks to address racial injustice.

Congratulations to the grant recipients and everyone who participates in these ministries!

September 16th Presbytery Meeting

at Camp Johnsonburg

We are excited to announce that our September Stated Meeting will be held in person at Camp Johnsonburg (822 County Road 519, Johnsonburg, NJ 07825) from 10:00 AM to 2:30 PM on Saturday, September 16, 2023.

Church Finance Practices Dialogue

The Presbytery Treasurer and Bookkeeper invite representatives from 3-5 churches to a Zoom meeting discussion of church finance practices. We hope to identify best practices and standardization opportunities that will help interested churches implement efficiencies in any or all of the following areas: processing collections, paying bills, storing payment approval workflow and receipts, reconciling bank statements, sending giving statements to members, and preparing financial reports for a session. If interested in this dialogue, please reply to treasurer@coastlandspresbytery.org so we can find a mutually convenient time.

Celebratory Worship with a New Congregation!

On Sunday, June 11, members of FPC of Iselin and Oak Tree PC will

hold a congregational meeting to merge, creating a new congregation. The chartering worship service will be held at 2:00 PM the same day,

and everyone in Coastlands is invited to celebrate with the new

Oak Tree-Iselin Presbyterian Church!

Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville

raises over $7k for NAMI

A team from the Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville braved wind and rain to walk in the NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Mercer Walk on Saturday, May 20th; they raised $7,719 for NAMI, and helped fight the stigma around mental illness.

Houses of Worship Security Training

The New Jersey Office of Homeland Security and Preparedness will be conducting a Houses of Worship security training seminar in Mercer County on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM at St. Gregory the Great Catholic Church in Hamilton New Jersey. Click here for details.
