Volunteer Voice

This quarter we asked Dianne, our Friendly Support Call and Grocery Shopping volunteer, "How does it feel to volunteer?" Her answer:

"I have really enjoyed being a phoning volunteer with SSSBC. The seniors I call to chat with every two weeks seem to enjoy my call and sometimes we talk for over an hour. In the alternate weeks, I call a different list of seniors, order their groceries and organize the delivery. I am always pleased that they appreciate my efforts to help them. It has been a very positive experience getting to know them.

We thank Dianne for her service to SSSBC!
