The local action team is working to train all sectors of the community to be more dementia friendly by offering a education and certification for business and organizations, making recommendations for specific dementia friendly business practices. In this photo, the Waterloo Public Library staff poses after their recent training. The DFCV action team also seeks to create change in the community to be a more thriving place for people with dementia!
