It has been such a joy and privilege to be involved in all this. I have learned so much. I appreciate any opportunity to learn more about this Land today. Now back in UK, all I have learned and witnessed can be put to good use in advocacy.

Solidarity with the Oppressed

As Palestinians, whether we come from Nazareth, Lydda, Jerusalem, Bethlehem or Gaza, we live under many forms of oppression and occupation. Our identity marker as Palestinian automatically means that systems go against us.

This season, while everyone around us, including ourselves, is busy with preparations, events and presents, let us remember the real gift of the season—the center of Christmas, Christ. Let us open the door of our hearts for Him and make Him a priority.

The 8th Global Leadership Summit

in Bethlehem

On November 11th, BethBC hosted the 8th annual Global Leadership Summit. More than 140 local and international attendees were at the conference this year to hear inspirational speakers challenge them in leadership, teamwork and development.

During this season of Thanksgiving, we praise the Lord and give thanks for our faithful friends and supporters who have been, and continue to be, by our side. Your words, prayers, and financial support have encouraged and enabled us to continue expanding the Lord’s ministry among our community in the Holy Land!

As we enter the Christmas season, let us all pray for a blessed time for all members of Bethlehem Bible College family, and a season of change in Bethlehem, Palestine. May all eyes during this season move toward the old town of Bethlehem, and may the Prince of Peace be born into every heart.

While we praise the Lord for pouring His rain over our country, let us pray for those whose circumstances make living through the winter weather difficult. May the Lord warm their hearts and provide them with all they need to endure the winter season.

Give thanks with us for the ministry of the Shepherd Society, who will be providing 440 needy families and widows with food packages during this Christmas season. They are organizing a Christmas celebration for all their beneficiaries, and continue to support more people with medical supplies.

Today marks the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, so please join us in praying for our country and for those who still do not understand the reality of what is happening in Palestine. May the Lord open their eyes to the truth so they can stand with us and defend the sanctity of the Holy Land.
