Happy New Year from CiTY!

We hope everyone has had a warm and restful holiday break filled with family, good health, and happiness. Your CiTY leadership team and coaches are excited to kick off 2023 on the field with our travel teams this month, as well as off the field at the annual United Soccer Coaches Convention. Held in Philadelphia this year, we will be sharing best practices and networking with clubs and state associations from across the country, so we can continue to enrich our CiTY community on and off the field with fresh and collaborative ideas. CiTY Spring REC registration is open (see below for details) and we anticipate record-breaking numbers as our REC program continues to grow and evolve. We also look forward to welcoming up to 12 Get On the Bus teams in CiTY REC this spring. Registration for the always-anticipated CiTY Special Needs program will open soon, so keep your eye out in the coming weeks to register players and volunteers.

We are planning lots of exciting programming at CiTY in 2023 as we continue to uphold our three core philosophies:
  • We are Soccer People Serving Soccer Families
  • We Serve All Levels, Including Special Needs
  • We Develop Players On and Off the Field

CiTY General Manager, Rob Ryerson, talks about these philosophies in the Soccer Matters podcast (below).
Wishing our CiTY family a safe and healthy start to 2023. Go CiTY!

Get On the Bus (GOTB) is a non-profit, 501(c)3 that started right here in Howard County in 2018. GOTB has since funded over 1200 kids across the country to participate in an after-school program that emphasizes a healthy lifestyle and the importance of education, as well as play in a rec soccer league in their community.
Here in Howard County, GOTB players play in CiTY's Spring REC program, and we look forward to welcoming up to 100 players in Spring 2023. GOTB relies on grants and donations from the community to bring the program to these students in Title 1 schools, so when considering your giving for 2022, please remember GOTB! Donations can be made at www.gotbsoccer.org or through Paypal.
