A Message from Our VP of Student Life and Mission | |
To The Carondelet Community,
As we begin our summer recess, we want to thank the Carondelet Community for a wonderful year full of learning, collaboration, connection, reflection, and fun. Thank you to our students who gave their all to their classes, clubs, sports, leadership roles, and service. Thank you to our families who supported their daughters and partnered with us in our mission to develop young women of heart, faith, courage, and excellence. Thank you to our dedicated faculty and staff who spent countless hours developing and facilitating all of the academic, athletic, and student life programming.
This is the last e-Newsletter of the school year. I hope that you enjoy a restful and restorative summer with family and friends. Our next e-Newsletter publication with all you need to know about the start of the year will be coming out at the end of July. In the meantime, soak up the many blessings of the summer season.

Rest Station Project Updates
This year's Engineering for Social Good class designed and built a rest station for local farm workers. Built on a lightweight trailer, the rest station can be moved from field to field to provide a shaded, comfortable spot for lunches and breaks. Treat Boulevard Road Project
In preparation for a larger summer project, the city has started road work on Treat Boulevard. They have agreed to limit activity in our neighborhood between the hours of 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM.
The next few weeks are mostly exploratory and preparatory in nature. They need to locate existing utilities, which will require the closure of one lane. They also plan to start some of the curb cutting for ADA compliance and tree trimming. There will be flagmen assisting drivers coming in and out of the high school driveways during lane closures.
The city is aware of our school schedule and is trying to work with us on minimizing the impact for the next few weeks while trying to keep on schedule so they are out of our way this fall. If you are driving to campus, please give yourself plenty of time to avoid any potential delays due to this road work. You can get up-to-date information from the city's website here.
