Tahoma High School staff members went all out for Star Wars Day today.
This spring, Tahoma High School’s Bear Metal Robotics, DECA and We the People co-curricular programs have dominated national and international competitions. After months of hard work, these students and their coaches topped the leaderboards against U.S. and global competitors, and many brought banners and trophies back home to Maple Valley.
This spring, Jedi apprentices from three elementary schools are taking field trips to the SHADOW Lake Nature Preserve to carry on a long-standing partnership between Tahoma and SHADOW. Looking like something from planet Dagobah, the bog located at the preserve connects classroom to the real world in an exciting exploration.
A long time ago, in a galaxy not so far, far away... Former School Board Director Tami Henkel reflects on Tahoma’s nearly 100-year history, and what’s made our schools and community special through the years.
A new piece of instructional technology is transforming anatomy education at Tahoma High School. The Anatomage Table is an out-of-this-world device that will position Tahoma students to be leaders in science and medicine.
