Christmas Blessings
A message from Sarah Smith, UCE-USA Director Dec 2022 Vol. 17 #6
As Christmas approaches, it's a time to reflect on God sending us a SAVIOR through the baby Jesus. This Tanzanian creche depicts how Jesus was born in a stable since there was no room for the holy family at the inn. In meditating on the Christmas story, we can prepare and make room to receive Jesus inside of our hearts this Christmas!

The hearts of thousands of youth in Africa continue to be transformed by UCE. To date, 662,356 people have made life-saving commitments to chastity through UCE programs. The African updates below describe UCE: "good news... healthy ... strengthened ... inspired... come at the right time ... positive impact on a soul..."

UCE-Tanzania
In August 2022, UCE-Africa Director, Mr. Isaac Lema, along with the youth director of Iringa, Tanzania diocese, helped facilitate a regional youth conference. The young people gathered for three days at Migoli parish to listen to UCE’s good news and were inspired by the importance of abstinence and how to live healthy lives.

During the UCE outreach to St John Secondary School in Kaliro, Uganda on 9/15/22, 259 students signed chastity cards. The teachers were also moved with one sharing, “Indeed the team has come at the right time and the UCE words have fallen on fertile soil. May God bless you so much.”
