Congressman Hudson Visits Randolph County Leaders

Congressman Richard Hudson of the 9^th District of North Carolina visited with Randolph County leaders on February 15^th as an opportunity to learn about the challenges in our community. Congressman Hudson and his team are planning to visit with all the chambers in the district to gain knowledge for legislative priorities.

The Asheboro/Randolph Chamber along with Randolph County, City of Asheboro, City of Randleman, Town of Staley Community Leaders and Elected Officials shared with Congressman Hudson some of the issues that the county is facing such as broadband and water/sewer infrastructure. Other items mentioned were the Moratorium on the Basin Study with Deep River/Cape Fear River, Asheboro Regional Airport updates, workforce, housing shortages and support for small businesses.
