CARE PORTAL
Aledo UMC has joined other area churches for Care Portal, a program that allows us to be "on-call" to meet the needs of children in foster care in east Parker County. Sometimes a foster family needs an extra twin bed or a larger microwave to accommodate additional children in their home. Or sometimes to return home, parents need items for their children, such as school shoes.
Would you be interested and willing to be on our AUMC text list? If so, when a need arises, we will let you know and perhaps you can help, either with the item or money toward that item. Contact Trudy to register or for more info.

MANNA ROOM FOOD PANTRY
If you would like to help feed our neighbors, we are currently short of the following items:
Peanut butter (16 oz.)
Tomato soup
Vegetable soup
Vienna sausages
Canned chili
We are very well stocked with all other items.
We appreciate your faithful support of this ministry! Please no glass jars, bottles, or other breakable containers, and we cannot accept items past their expiration dates. Donations may be placed in the marked bin in the Narthex. Thank you!

Caring Hearts/Stephen Ministers - AUMC is blessed to have many compassionate, caring men and women who are available to visit and pray with you. If you're going through a struggle or difficult time, they offer a confidential, listening ear and a word or prayer. Whether you just want to visit once or twice, or if you need a long-term prayer partner, kind folks are here to support you! Contact our Director of Congregational Care (trudysmith@aledoumc.org) for more information.
