MEN'S BREAKFAST & DISCUSSION

Come! Enjoy a great breakfast and great company this Saturday, May 11 beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Choir Room. Be part of All Saints' Men's Fellowship!

Our morning will include a presentation and discussion about how we might want this fellowship group to develop.

The presentation will give us an overview of the mission and purpose of the men's group, which will be formed through discussion with the group--so, your input matters!

We'll have a great breakfast and fellowship and hope that you can be part of Saturday's meal and time together.

We plan to support youth and family in this congregation and beyond our doors with activities like retreats, cookouts, beach pit fires, movies, concerts, nighttime space views, enhancing All Saints' labyrinth, and other building projects.

All Saints' Men's Fellowship will also be a member chapter of the Episcopal Church Brotherhood of St. Andrew.

Please mark your calendars for our spring Ruthie’s Kitchen on Tuesday, May 14th in the kitchen at 1:30 p.m.

Let Colleen Sargent know if you can bring Sloppy Joes, hamburger rolls, vegetables, water, fruit/fruit cups, or dessert—and how many. We need at least 85 meals in total.

Summer Reading Supplies Needed!

Dare County Schools is planning its Velocity Summer Reading Camp for students in grades K-3 who need additional support in reading. Hoping to eliminate barriers for students, they are seeking the following basic school supplies for the 4 weeks of camp.

480 Black Fine Tip Expo markers

480 Ticonderoga Pencils

120 kid scissors

10 packs of sentence strips

120 Crayola (24 pack) crayons

160 Elmer’s glue sticks

100 canisters of Clorox wipes              

100 boxes of tissues

Donations are needed by May 31 and may be placed in the box in the Narthex.

We had a great turnout and spirit-filled presentation and discussion at Wednesday evening's (May 8) get-together exploring the history and mystery of The Black Madonna.

Thank you to all who participated, and to the many hands involved in set-up, preparation, and clean-up. Special thanks to Marcia Brooks for her story, and for her thought-provoking leadership.
