On September 23, 2017, IAWF held its 2nd International Iranian Women's Leadership Conference (1st in London) in association with Persia Educational Foundationat the Royal Garden Hotel. The conference was a huge success, featuring a diverse array of engaging speakers and empowering stories.

There were nine panels, which featured speakers from the United States and Europe, including our Keynote Speaker, Azita Rajiwho was the former U.S. ambassador to Sweden.

This event held 350 participants who were  inspired and enlightened by these thriving women sharing their inspirational stories and the steps to their successful careers. The strong positive feedback that we received from the audience in London reminds us that our contribution knows no boundaries and encourages us to expand our operations to other countries.

The Iranian American Women Foundation would like to thank all of the speakers, exhibitors, participants, and volunteers for joining IAWF and making this event a huge success with their great support.

Testimonial

I joined Iranian American Women Foundation not knowing what to expect, now towards the end of my time with the organization I can truly say I am leaving as a wiser Iranian woman. There is so much that I have learned through this experience. My knowledge for social media has expanded, as well as organizing and planning for big events. Prior to joining, I never knew the numbers and strengths of the women in the Iranian community. These women that I have had the pleasure of meeting or just simply hearing about have inspired me to push myself and aim higher in life. I leave knowing that there are hundreds of women just like me that have pursued their dreams and didn't allow any obstacles slow them down, and paved the way for future generations. Even, if my time as an intern has come to an end, I hope to continue my relationship with Iranian American Women foundation.
