Dear Families & Graduates of Brecksville-Broadview Heights High School Class of 2024,
The countdown clock in the main lobby is activated, and we are rapidly approaching the last day of school for our Class of 2024, on May 17th! At the time of this communication, only 25 days remain for our seniors!
We have attached an updated Commencement Bulletin for your review. The bulletin provides a detailed overview of end-of-year processes and protocols based on up-to-date information. Please be aware that the bulletin has been updated since we originally shared it with families during spring break. It is essential that you review it for accurate and updated information.
One major adjustment since our original communication centers around ticket release time and date. The online portal is expected to go live no later than Tuesday, April 30th, at 9:00 am. This change has occurred due to a protocol change initiated by the Playhouse Square Box Office. Playhouse Square will no longer launch an event outside its established box office hours in order to provide guests with agent support in the event of portal issues. This change in their protocol has required us to move the release of tickets from the originally communicated window. We apologize for this change, as we understand that placing the ticket release during work hours may pose a conflict for some families.
As a reminder, student fee accounts must be paid in full by midnight on Thursday, May 23, in order for graduates to participate in commencement exercises. If you have questions or concerns regarding fee payment, please contact Mr. Kevin Jakub.
Students and families will receive personalized email directions on how to select their commencement tickets on Wednesday, April 24th. Again, we encourage you to read this message in advance and download the instructions embedded from Playhouse Square so that you can prepare ahead of the ticket release launch.
Each BBHHS graduate will have access to ten tickets for commencement. Families will have a week to secure their initial ten tickets for commencement. After that week expires, unclaimed tickets will be re-released to families who hope to acquire more than the allotted ten seats.
The Commencement Bulletin includes two key Google Forms surveys designed to help us gauge participation. Please complete the following surveys in a timely manner so that our staff can best plan for commencement day exercises. Your timely completion of these surveys is greatly appreciated. We have several families who have not confirmed their attendance at commencement at this time. Please take a moment to respond to the forms below so that we can best plan for graduation events! We appreciate your help in providing us with early notification.

Thank you for being patient as you await ticketing availability and seat selection information. The BBHHS staff and Key Bank State Theatre teams are working hard to make this a special event for the Class of 2024 and their families, and we are excited to share this significant life accomplishment with you.
