PEP Movie Night

PEP'S MOVIE NIGHT PRE-SALE BEGINS TODAY!

PEP's Movie Night is a fundraiser benefiting Pinecrest Enrichment Programs (PEP) which provides aides and resources for our classrooms. Families bring blankets to sit on and we watch a movie together under the stars! This year, the children were given several movie options, and each class voted for their top choice. After tallying the votes, the winning movie is...(Drumroll please)...

Minions: The Rise of Gru!

Beginning today, we will be holding an online pre-sale for admission wristbands and food tickets as well as Pinecrest logo blankets, pizza and donuts. The pre-sale will run through January 20. This is an ONLINE ONLY sale - forms will not be sent home with the kids. We have set up a dedicated website - www.pinecrestpta.com/movie-night - which has a link to the pre-sale store along with other helpful resources. You can also check out the flyers below for more information. We can't wait to see you then!

Important Club Information

New Pinecrest Clubs for the Spring are here. Please read through all of the information below as it entails everything you need to successfully enroll your child if you are interested.

• Spots are limited and enrollment is on a first come, first served basis.
• The LAST DAY to register is Wednesday, January 11, 2023.
• Club fees MUST be paid for in the Parent Portal in an app called FOCUS. Focus is NOT available in the Student Portal.
• Below is a list of the clubs available.



Enrolling your child in a club is a wonderful way to create community and have your child feel connected to others with a similar interest. However, the only way to successfully enroll is with an MDCPS Parent Account. This is accomplished with the instructions below. Please know this is an ESSENTIAL step in being able to enroll your child in a club.

Instructions for Enrolling in a Club

Step 1 - Create a Parent Portal Account and link your students to your account using a PIN provided by the Main Office. You will need a pin for each of your students.

Step 2 - 24 hours after successfully linking your student(s) to your Parent Portal account, you may pay for a club in Focus using the directions available on our school’s website https://pinecrestelem.net/clubs/

Additional Club for Spring

In addition to all of the information noted above regarding our club offerings, we are also offering our Vex IQ Robotics Club. However, this is not a club that can be signed up for automatically. There is a process to determine registration. Please refer to the flyer below and students who are interested need to attend the information session on
