You are cordially invited to attend Sacramento Guitar Society's Spring Concert!
First, the two community guitar orchestras, led by Sean O'Connor, will present a rich and varied program including classical works by Mozart and Schubert, the title theme from HBO's hit show, Succession, folks songs from Ireland, England, Greece, and Japan, and a beautiful modern inspired by the natural beauty of the Sandias mountains.
Second, we are extremely proud to present our special guest performer, Julio Reyes. A true virtuoso of the guitar, at the tender age of 13 Mr. Reyes was an award winner at the International Agustin Barrios Guitar Competition in Mexico City where the average age of his competitors was at least 20 years his senior. Since then, he has gone on to a career in performing and teaching music, recording a critically acclaimed album, and running various summer music workshops. Mr. Reyes is especially known for his interpretation and heartfelt performances of the music of Paraguayan guitarist/composer Agustin Barrios.
You can check out some of his fine recordings

Recommended donation for the concert is $20 per person. However, no one will be turned away. Give what you can.
