Early Voting for Uniform Elections Starts Monday, April 22

Every election counts and every vote matters. That's the mantra we live by in politics. But often local elections are overlooked even though they affect your community way more than the state or federal government. Better yet, your vote actually matters more. Because of traditionally low turn out, the relatively small number of people that do vote are making very consequential decisions!

The uniform election date in May of an even-numbered year serves as the election date for numerous local political subdivisions, including cities, school districts, water districts and more, as well as possible special elections. It's critical that you check with your local elections office and your local county party to learn what is on the ballot. This is your chance to vote conservative on issues and elections that impact your family directly.

Early voting for the uniform elections will be available from Monday, April 22 through Tuesday, April 30. Find your polling locations using this link: VoteTexas.gov

Then, make sure you mark your calendar for these important dates concerning any runoff elections:

  • April 29: Last Day to Register
  • May 17: Last Day to Apply by Mail
  • May 20: First Day of Early Voting
  • May 27: Last Day of Early Voting
  • May 28: Runoff Election Day!

Your participation in these elections will contribute to victories for Texas Republicans across all ballot levels this November.

Pot, Meet Kettle: Democrats Roasted Over Legal Fee Hypocrisy

Democrats have a serious problem with projection. A new report outlining how Biden campaign donations are funding his legal fees is only the latest example of their rank hypocrisy.

What you need to know:

  • According to Axios, the Democrat National Committee — which raises money in conjunction with the Biden campaign — has “paid more than $1.5 million to lawyers or firms representing Biden” in his classified documents scandal.
  • More than $1 million of the cash went to the LLC of Bob Bauer — whose wife, Anita Dunn, is a top taxpayer-funded staffer in the Biden White House.
  • Spending money on legal fees has become a frequent line of attack from both the DNC and the Biden campaign:
  • “We are not spending money on legal bills,” said Biden Finance Chair Rufus Gifford (4/6/24).
  • “Only a con man and grifter … would be so brazen as to take campaign donors’ money to pay his mounting legal bills,” said DNC Rapid Response Director Alex Floyd (3/21/24).
  • “They are paying Donald Trump’s legal bills … you are knocking it out of the park,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison (3/12/24).
  • “I’m not going to … pay the exorbitant legal fees for our nominee,” said DNC Chair Jaime Harrison (2/20/24).
  • If Democrats didn’t have hypocrisy, they’d have nothing at all.

The bottom line:

The DNC covered Biden’s legal fees during the special counsel's probe into his handling of classified documents last year. Rules for thee but not for me should be the official motto of the Democrat Party.

Trump Campaign Calls To Move Up Presidential Debates

Americans deserve to see the contrast of Biden’s weakness and President Trump’s vision to Make America Great Again.

What you need to know:

  • The time to start these debates is now.
  • In 2020, the Commission on Presidential Debates ceded to the wishes of the Biden campaign on every front.
  • President Trump is calling on the Commission to conduct the 2024 debates fairly and impartially.
  • To do that, the Commission must move up the timetable of its proposed debates.
  • We should also have more debates in addition to those on the currently proposed schedule.
  • The RNC has supported President Trump and long pushed for reforms that foster truly free and fair debates.
  • Election calendars have become longer than ever before — and scheduling debates after millions of Americans have already cast their ballots does a grave disservice to voters.
  • By the date of the first proposed debate, September 16, 2024, over 1 million Americans will have likely voted.
  • By the date of the second proposed debate, October 1, 2024, over 3 million Americans will have likely voted.
  • By the date of the third proposed debate, October 9, 2024, or 35 days out from election day, approximately 8.7 million Americans will have likely voted.
  • While Joe Biden wants to return to the basement and avoid accountability for his failures, he must answer for the economic, border, and crime crises he’s created.
  • President Trump is ready to debate anytime, anyplace, and anywhere.

The bottom line:

Americans deserve a full chance to see both candidates on the same stage before they start voting.

  • Only 38% of voters rate the economy as good, compared to 65 percent under Trump.
  • 60% of Americans disapprove of the way Biden is handling inflation and 53 percent disapprove of Biden’s handling of the economy.
  • 60% of Americans believe the economy is on the wrong track, 58% think the economy is weak, and 54% say their current personal economic situation is underwater.
  • Fewer than four in 10 registered voters say Biden deserves to be reelected.

The bottom line:

Americans know their standard of living will continue to deteriorate under Joe Biden.
