TXCPA 2025 Legislative Agenda
The 89th Legislative Session is just around the corner. TXCPA has a very important session ahead of us as we attempt to further address the CPA pipeline by providing candidates an additional pathway to licensure and enhancing and modernizing the mobility and out-of-state practices privileges. You can read more here about the TXCPA 2025 Legislative Agenda. Please reach out to Kenneth Besserman for more information about the upcoming legislative session and TXCPA Advocacy efforts.

Support the TXCPA PAC
The 2024 election season is behind us and the TXCPA PAC had an active contribution season providing campaign contributions to candidates up and down the ballot, those in leadership positions, those who have been supportive of TXCPA issues, and to new legislators in an effort to spread our message and issues to the large freshman class. Your support of PAC has been crucial in our efforts to have a strong PAC and a great track record in passing (and preventing) important bills for the profession. Thank you to those that support PAC. If you have not yet given to the PAC this year, please support your profession by contributing here.

2025 Advocacy Day

In addition, a resolution will be filed in the Legislature naming January 28 as TXCPA Advocacy Day at the Capitol.
